Regular charging

①  Scale of a typical conventional charging station.

According to the data on conventional charging of electric vehicles, an EV fast-charging station is generally configured with 20 to 40 electric vehicles. This configuration is to take full advantage of the evening valley electricity for charging. The disadvantage is that the utilization rate of charging equipment is low. When charging is also considered during peak hours, 60 to 80 electric vehicles can be used to configure an EV fast-charging station. The disadvantage is that the charging cost increases and the peak load increases.

②  Typical configuration of EV fast-charging station power supply (provided that the charging cabinet has processing functions such as harmonics).

A scheme:

Design 2 channels of 10KV cables (with 3*70mm cables), set up 2 sets of 500KVA user box transformers, each box transformer is equipped with 4 channels of 380V outgoing lines (with 4*240mm cables, 20M long, 8 loops), each outlet is set with one A 4-circuit cable branch box supplies power to the charging cabinet (with 4*70mm cable, 50M length, 24 circuits).

According to the data on electric vehicle fast-charging, an EV fast-charging station is generally configured to charge 8 electric vehicles at the same time.

A scheme

The construction of the distribution station is designed with 2 channels of 10KV incoming cables (with 3*70mm cables), 2 sets of 500KVA transformers, and 10 channels of 380V outgoing lines (with 4*120mm cables, 50M long, 10 loops).

Plan B

Design 2 channels of 10KV cables (with 3*70mm cables), and set up 2 sets of 500KVA user box transformers, each box transformer is equipped with 4 channels of 380V outgoing lines for charging stations (with 4*120mm cables, 50M long, 8 loops).

 

Mechanical charging

①  Scale of mechanical fast charging going station

The small mechanical EV fast-charging station can be considered in combination with the construction of conventional charging stations, and a larger capacity transformer can be selected as needed. A large-scale mechanical EV fast-charging station generally configures a large-scale mechanical charging station with 80~100 sets of rechargeable batteries charged at the same time. It is mainly suitable for the taxi industry or the battery leasing industry. One day of uninterrupted charging can complete the charging of 400 sets of batteries.

EV fast-charging station has 2 channels of 10KV cables (with 3*240mm cables), 2 sets of 1600KVA transformers, and 10 channels of 380V outlets (with 4*240mm cables, 50M long, 10 loops).

 

Portable charging

① Villa

Equipped with a three-phase four-wire meter and an independent parking garage, the existing residential power supply facilities can be used to provide a portable charging power source by placing a 10mm2 or 16mm2 line from the residential distribution box to a special socket in the garage.

②  General housing

With a fixed centralized parking garage, underground parking garages are generally required (for charging safety considerations), and the original power supply facilities of the community can be used for reconstruction, which must be considered according to the existing load capacity of the community, including a load of valley power. The specific scheme of the EV fast-charging stations should be determined according to the power supply facilities, scheme, and building environment of the community.
